Join us for a weekend skillcation that we carefully crafted to deepen your dominance, increase confidence and creativity, and learn technical skills with hands-on coaching and experiential learning. The Intensive draws on the experience and feedback we’ve gathered from working with hundreds of femmes seeking to step into their power – and allows us to more deeply dive into this work.

What you will take away
- Hard skills: hands-on practice with BDSM toys of all varieties, bondage gear and restraints, including demo bottoms (for a portion of the time) to practice on. Prior to the Intensive, we will ask the cohort what folks want to learn and practice specifically, to better direct activities and content to those goals.
- Soft skills: deep dive into the psychological aspects of dominance, including workshops and discussion focused on building confidence and finding your voice, to successfully craft powerful experiences for you and your partner(s).
- Connections: community for mutual support in your journey before and after the Intensive.
- An unforgettable weekend in Portland: whether you are visiting us from afar or from within Portland, this is an opportunity to escape into the delicious underground world of Sub Rosa, in the heart of the City. We have secured a discounted room rate for attendees at the legendary Jupiter Hotel (walking distance from our space). For the after hours, we will give the cohort recommended nightlife outings, everything from our favorite strip clubs to local BDSM parties, from adult shops to food carts.
Who is this Intensive for?
This Intensive is designed for people who are newer to the world of kink and power exchange, and those with more experience who would like to deepen their understanding of the basics. Wherever you start, this weekend will help you expand your skills and confidence. If you’ve attended our Bootcamps before, some content will be familiar but deeply expanded upon, with fewer attendees and more personal focus. This event is aged 21+.
The Intensive is for those who identify as women, femmes, or thems. Sub Rosa is a queer femme-owned space, and we welcome all orientations. We embrace all shades of FemDom, recognizing that this identity is expansive and doesn’t always look the same. This is not an event for folks who identify as men or male doms. (Trans women are women. Sub Rosa is a trans-inclusive space and we do not tolerate transphobia.)
This very first Intensive cohort has only 15 spots, an intimate group that we hope will find lasting connections (as many have found from our 3hr Bootcamps). What does the Intensive include?
- 90-minute zoom meeting a week prior, to get to know each other and set intentions and goals for the upcoming weekend
- 16 hours, over 3 days, of in-person experiential learning at Sub Rosa comprised of instruction, coaching, group activities, and guided play and practice
- One evening of catered sweets, charcuterie, and bevvies.
- Two catered lunches from local independently-owned restaurants (we will make sure there are options for all dietary restrictions)
- A private Discord channel for cohort members, with access to the educators to answer questions, process what you’ve learned, or coordinate outings during after hours
- 90-minute zoom meeting a week after for post-event aftercare and debriefing
Intensive Schedule
- Sept. 10th, 6:30-8pm: online introductions and intention setting on Zoom. This will NOT be recorded so please make every effort to be there in person.
- Sept. 18th, 7-10pm: in-person Intensive begins, with catered snacks and beverages provided.
- Sept. 19th, 11am-4pm: full Intensive day, break for catered lunch, hands on practice to sharpen your technical skills.
- Sept. 20th, 11am-5pm: full Intensive day, break for catered lunch, followed by a coached play party.
- Sept. 24th 6:30-8pm: online debrief and check-in meeting on Zoom. This will NOT be recorded so please make every effort to be there in person.

Intensive FAQ
What if I don’t have any experience? What if I do?
The Intensive is beginner-friendly, with no prior experience in femdom or BDSM needed. But for those who are at a more intermediate level, the Intensive will help you hone your skills, build more confidence, and make connections. If you have attended our FemDom Bootcamps before, you will notice some overlap with the material, but we’ll be going much deeper into the topics and skillsets.
What is the price?
The entire weekend experience is $1799 (no additional processing or service fees). There are two scholarships available for an $800 ticket. Priority will be given to BIPOC applicants. Click here to apply for a scholarship by 7/31. We will be reviewing the applications on 8/1.
What is included?
The ticket includes 19 total hours of Intensive time, snacks and two lunches, exclusive opportunities to learn from and connect with Princessa Natasha and Mistress Viola and other dommes, hands-on learning in our beautifully appointed playspaces, and much more.
Can I bring my submissive or partner?
No. We provide demo bottoms when they are needed. This is a weekend for you to lean into learning what works for you.
What if I don’t live in Portland?
We’d love to have you visit our kinky city! The Jupiter Hotel (walking distance from Sub Rosa) is offering our attendees a 15% discount on rooms for the weekend.
