Power, Fantasy, and Persona: Advanced Role Play with Tina Horn

Come learn how to get what you want by being someone you’re not! Your favorite theater queer Tina Horn is back with a classic camp workshop: Advanced Role Play! In this online class, Tina goes deeper on negotiation, collaboration, and aftercare. We will discuss the blurring of lines between scenes and 24/7 identity, and guide you through some inspirational close readings of taboo fantasy scenarios. Supernatural ethics, dirty talk techniques, fetish understanding, consent comprehension, authority figure dynamics, primal play, and special occasion party ideas are all in the script of this fun and dynamic workshop!

This class is for folks looking to deepen their fantasy lives in relationships, playing with friends at parties, or wowing their clients. Bring your favorite role plays and personas to expand upon, and be ready to start 2025 with a head full of thrilling new scene ideas! Tina’s classes are always queer inclusive, sex work positive, slut-centric, and anti-racist.

Tina Horn is a writer, educatrix, and intimacy consultant for individuals and media. She is the author of Why Are People Into That?: A Cultural Investigation of Kink, a book based on her long-running indie fetish podcast of the same name. Find her on IG @TinaHornsAss and at her website TinaHorn.net

FemDom Bootcamp

Hosted by Natasha Strange & Viola ParkerFemDom Bootcamp is an evening with coached play, demos, and opportunities for hands-on practice for femmes and themmes. We begin with a discussion on consent and safety, and model negotiations with the help of experienced volunteers. Then we turn up the music and use the gorgeous space and gear at Sub Rosa for experiential practice and play with our demo bottoms. Natasha and Viola and the support dommes circulate throughout the space to provide guidance.

FemDom Bootcamp is geared to women, femmes and nonbinary folks at the beginning stages of exploring, seeking increased confidence, community, hands-on experience, and to develop their dominant power. We welcome femme and non-binary dominants/tops/switches, with or without their partners. This is not for single men, submissive or dominant, and men coming to this event in a couple should understand that this event is geared toward the women/femmes in the room. We encourage questions and active participation in demos, however, learning by watching/voyeurism is always welcome.

Kink for the Curious – Valentines Day Edition!

Curious about adding BDSM to your life? Kink and BDSM can seem so daunting when you are new. So many words, activities, and outfits that inspire feelings of arousal, shame, and burning curiosity. It can be difficult to know where to begin. How do you communicate your interests when you aren’t quite sure what they are? Do I have to like pain? How will I know if I’m doing it right ( or wrong!)? Let’s make 2025 the year you embarked on your kinky journey!

Princessa Natasha Strange answers some of the most common questions and guides attendees through some useful communication tools, with ample time for Q&A. This class will be loosely modeled after Kink for the Curious, a kinky education and activity book written by Natasha, and copies will be available for purchase after class.

This class is open to all genders and inclinations, and makes a great date night, even if you only bring yourself your date! Couples, throuples, and those taking themselves out for Valentine’s day are welcome. There won’t be any coupled up activities. We will enjoy chocolates, cookies, and bubbles during the break. There will also be a kinky giveaway sponsored by SheBop, Portland’s Favorite sex toy store.

Partners in Crime

Spend V-Day with your sweetie and Mistress Viola in the sexiest private playroom in Portland for a unique group coaching experience. Come learn with your partner and gain confidence with hands-on exposure to impact toys, bondage, and BDSM gear. Each ticket is for two people to share a V-Day date night, for those eager to bring more kink, sexual empowerment, and exploration into their relationship. In honor of Valentine’s Day, Viola’s sexy submissives will be serving chocolate, strawberries, snacks, champagne, kombucha, seltzers, and tea.

The class includes live demonstrations, and opportunities to put it all into practice. Viola will be demonstrating various toys, equipment, and ways to play on her submissive Scarlett Vixen. We believe the best way to learn is by doing, so be prepared to practice what’s be demonstrated with your partner (with consent of course!).

This workshop is for duos only – come with your spouse, your play partner, a friend, or whoever else would like to share this evening with you. All genders and presentations welcome. We always welcome folks that are queer, straight, bisexual, or platonic. All dynamics welcome: femdoms, male doms, themdoms, switches, and curious explorers.

Sub Rosa Social

The Sub Rosa Social at Wayfinder Beer in SE Portland expands the opportunity for people to connect with the community created around our space and classes. It’s a munch! But we don’t like that word and think “social” sounds so much more fancy. So come join us at this purely social event (no kink play). This event is open to all, but our space is femme & femdom-led.

This is a free event! Wayfinder has a great food menu as well as lots of NA beverages, beer, wine, and cocktails (you pay for your drinks and food). Portland-style vanilla (or vanilla adjacent) attire is required – this is a public venue with children and strangers nearby. Please be respectful of the environment and the space. The parking lot across the street from Wayfinder becomes conditional parking for the restaurant at 6pm so there should hopefully be plenty of parking. Wayfinder does have accessible access with a ramp going up to the restaurant and inside to access lower seating levels as well. We meet in the back room to the left when you enter.
