Kink and BDSM Classes in Portland and Online

IN PERSON CLASS
June 4th, 7pm-10pm
FemDom Bootcamp Level II
Hosted by Natasha Strange & Viola Parker, this three-hour event is for people who have already attended Bootcamp, and are ready to level up.
FDBC Level II focuses more on the play portion of the event. The introduction discussion is kept brief, since you’re already familiar with our consent talk. After demo bottom introductions and negotiations, we have plenty of time to use the gorgeous space and gear at Sub Rosa for experiential practice and play with our most experienced demo bottoms.
FemDom Bootcamp Level II is geared to women and/or nonbinary folks who have attended our Bootcamps a couple times, and are familiar with the format and our consent discussion. We encourage active participation in demos, however, learning by watching/voyeurism is always welcome.
This is a coached play party that focuses on learning, consent, negotiation, and practice in a femdom context. Please note, this is not an event for single men, submissive or dominant.

IN PERSON CLASS
June 6th, 7pm-10pm
Partners in Crime with Mistress Viola
Join Viola Parker for a unique group coaching experience with a date night for couples learning kinky skills in Portland’s sexiest private playroom.
Partners in Crime is an evening for couples who are eager to bring more kink, sexual empowerment, and BDSM exploration into their relationship. Mistress Viola will demo toys and skills with her submissive Scarlett Vixen. Attendees will then have the unique opportunity to practice with their partner. We aim to support attendees in gaining confidence with hands-on exposure to impact toys, bondage, and BDSM gear.
This workshop is for duos only. Each ticket is for two people. At Sub Rosa, we always welcome those who identify as queer, straight, bisexual, or platonic. All dynamics welcome: femdoms, male doms, themdoms, switches, and curious explorers. Spots are limited to keep the workshop intimate.

IN PERSON EVENT
June 17th, 6pm-9pm
Sub Rosa Social
The monthly Sub Rosa Social (on 3rd Wednesdays) at Wayfinder Beer in SE Portland expands the opportunity for people to connect with the community created around Sub Rosa’s space and classes. It’s a munch! But we don’t like that word and think “social” sounds so much more fancy. So come join us at this purely social event (no kink play). This event is open to all, but our space is femme & femdom-led.
This is a free event! Wayfinder has a great food menu as well as lots of NA beverages, beer, wine, and cocktails (you pay for your drinks and food). Portland-style vanilla (or vanilla adjacent) attire is required – this is a public venue with children and strangers nearby. Please be respectful of the environment and the space.
The parking lot across the street from Wayfinder becomes conditional parking for the restaurant at 6pm so there should hopefully be plenty of parking. Wayfinder has accessible access with a ramp going up to the restaurant and inside to access lower seating levels as well. The Social is in the side room to the left when you enter.
Wayfinder Beer, 304 SE 2nd Ave

VIRTUAL CLASS
June 23rd, 6pm-7:30pm
ONLINE Livin on the Edge: CNC for Edgeplay with Tina Horn
Join guest educator Tina Horn for an online class all about CNC for Edgeplay.
Edge Play usually involves the seemingly paradoxical yet profoundly vital kink concept of consensual non-consent (CNC). Learning psychology, archetypes, and power dynamics are just as important as any other technique.
Tina will go deep into all kinds of high risk fun, the verboden realities that inform our fantasies, and how to incorporate ethical care into the most perverted pleasure.
CNC is Tina’s specialty, and this online class is designed for experienced kinksters who are relatively new to CNC. All genders, orientations and all sides of the slash are welcome.

IN PERSON EVENT
June 28th, 11am-3pm
Harlots High Tea with Princessa Natasha Strange
We do hope this invitation finds you in a most delightful state of anticipation, for what awaits you at the Harlots High Tea is unlike anything you have attended before. An afternoon of fine tea, exquisite company, and the very particular pleasure of knowing exactly where you stand — and loving every moment of it. Tea. Snacks. Smacks. Giggles. Hosted by Princessa Natasha Strange in the beautiful Sub Rosa playspace.
Dominants are invited to take up every inch of space you deserve, recline magnificently, and allow yourself to be thoroughly attended to. Submissives, this is your moment to step gracefully out of the spotlight, and shine in the most delicious way — through silence and devoted service.
Service is, after all, the most exquisite of gifts. We look forward to receiving yours — and to giving you precisely what you came for.

Accessibility
Community Discounts
Sub Rosa offers reduced-rate tickets to black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) as well as those experiencing financial hardship, for all our kink and BDSM classes in Portland and online. Email us at info@subrosapdx.com to request these ticket order codes. Full price tickets help allow us to offer these discounts. Joining our Patreon also supports our ability to offer community discounts.
Disability Access
There are some challenges to accessibility in our old industrial building. There is no passenger elevator, and stairs are required. The exterior steps have no handrail and the door is heavy. The interior stairs do have a handrail (around 25 steps required).
Please request assistance if you would like someone to meet you at the door. We apologize for this issue and recognize that the impact on people with disabilities is felt deeply in our community. If there are other accommodations we can make please reach out.
Events and classes can be ASL interpreted upon request. Please request interpretation at least 48 hours in advance in the notes section of your order and email us at info@subrosapdx.com.
COVID Safety
Masks are welcome but optional for events at Sub Rosa. We continually run an air purifier in the space. We do not require vaccination cards or COVID tests, but visiting educators may enact different policies.
FAQ
Do you have any more recorded classes for purchase?
Unfortunately it can be difficult to find a host for sex education accounts. Our account on Gum Road has mostly been suspended. We are seeking a new platform and hope to have more recorded classes available soon.
All ticket holders to our online classes have access to a recording of the class for 30 days.
Where is Sub Rosa located?
Ticket holders receive our SE Portland address 24 hours before a class/event.
Can I come to a class if I have no experience with BDSM?
Yes! Our goal is always to teach BDSM and kink in an approachable and inclusive way. Most of our classes are appropriate for beginners and the curious. We will note it in the description if a class is directed at experienced kinksters.
Who teaches your classes?
Mistress Viola and Princessa Natasha Strange teach together and individually. We also periodically work with guest educators to teach in person or online.
Can I teach a class at Sub Rosa?
We love our guest teachers but have limited capacity to work with guest educators, so we can’t say yes to everyone. If you’re interested in teaching with us, fill out this intake form.
Can anyone under 18 attend your classes or events?
No, all our in-person and virtual classes and events are for adults 18+ only.
How often do you announce new classes?
We always have something new in the works! Our classes run year round (online only the in the summer). The best way to stay informed about our classes and events is by joining our newsletter.
