Tours of Sub Rosa’s gear and fetish equipment will be ongoing throughout the evening. Each ticket holder will receive a $20 discount on a future private rental.

Sub Rosa is more than a luxe fetish space, it’s an inclusive community for those interested in exploring BDSM and kink. We host classes, content creators, and couples looking to explore each other in a private sexy space. We are educators and coaches sharing our years of experience. We share our space with vetted members of the community, and this is a great way to meet us and tour the dungeon.

How do we gain confidence and override our “be nice” internal dialogue to create healthy power exchange? How do we ensure that we and our submissives feel physically and emotionally safe?

This is a great introductory or add-on class for anyone who has attended (or plans to attend) FemDom Bootcamp. *Trans women are women. FemDom Bootcamp – Saturday Special

We know not everyone can make first Thursday evenings work for their schedule. So please join us for a special edition of Bootcamp on a Saturday afternoon!

Hosted by Natasha Strange & Viola ParkerFemDom Bootcamp is an experience with coached play, demos, and opportunities for hands-on practice for femmes and themmes. We begin with a discussion on consent and safety, and model negotiations with the help of experienced volunteers. Then we turn up the music and use the gorgeous space and gear at Sub Rosa for experiential practice and play with our demo bottoms. Natasha and Viola and the support dommes circulate throughout the space to provide guidance.

FemDom Bootcamps are geared to women* and/or nonbinary folks at the early stages of exploring, seeking confidence, community, hands-on experience, and to further develop their dominant power. We encourage questions and active participation in demos, however, those interested in learning by watching/voyeurism are always welcome. Partners of the femdoms/tops/switches are also welcome – but this may be a good time for male partners to let the femdom in their life learn without them and bring home new ideas! *Trans women are women! Sub Rosa is a trans-inclusive space and transphobia will not be tolerated.

IN PERSON EVENT

May 21st, 6pm-9pm
Sub Rosa Social

The monthly Sub Rosa Social (on 3rd Wednesdays) at Wayfinder Beer in SE Portland expands the opportunity for people to connect with the community created around Sub Rosa’s space and classes. It’s a munch! But we don’t like that word and think “social” sounds so much more fancy. So come join us at this purely social event (no kink play). This event is open to all, but our space is femme & femdom-led.

This is a free event! Wayfinder has a great food menu as well as lots of NA beverages, beer, wine, and cocktails (you pay for your drinks and food). Portland-style vanilla (or vanilla adjacent) attire is required – this is a public venue with children and strangers nearby. Please be respectful of the environment and the space.

The parking lot across the street from Wayfinder becomes conditional parking for the restaurant at 6pm so there should hopefully be plenty of parking. Wayfinder does have accessible access with a ramp going up to the restaurant and inside to access lower seating levels as well. The Social is in the side room to the left when you enter.

May 28th, 7pm-9pm
Mindfuckery for Femmes with Princessa Natasha

Bondage and impact play are fun and all, but have you ever really fucked with someone’s mind? Come learn how from The First Lady of Mindfucks herself, Princessa Natasha Strange.

Mindfuckery is the (not so) simple act of setting expectations, and purposely missing them. It’s smoke and mirrors. It’s subtle. It’s outrageous. It’s anything the Top wants it to be. It’s about leaving your submissive second-guessing themselves, while trusting you.

In this class we will discuss society’s expectations for femmes, why the brain loves a good mindfuck, negotiating and planning mindfucks, mindfuck tools, and more.

This class is open to anyone of any gender presentation but will primarily be aimed at tops and dominants who are femme or femme leaning.

June 5th, 7pm-10pm
FemDom Bootcamp – Level II

Level II is back! Hosted by Natasha Strange & Viola Parkerco-owners of Sub Rosa, this three-hour event is for people who have already attended FemDom Bootcamp a few times, and are ready to level up.

Level II will focus more on the play portion of the event. The introduction discussion will be kept brief, since you’ve already heard our consent talk more than once. After demo bottom introductions and negotiations, we turn up the music and use the gorgeous space and gear at Sub Rosa for experiential practice and play with our most experienced demo bottoms. We aim to have some more advanced activities demonstrated at Level II. Natasha and Viola and the support dommes will circulate as usual to provide guidance and tips.

FemDom Bootcamp Level II is geared to women* and/or nonbinary folks at the intermediate stages of exploring, seeking increased confidence, community, hands-on experience, and to develop their dominant power even more after attending the original Bootcamp a few times. *Trans women are women! Sub Rosa is a trans-inclusive space and transphobia will not be tolerated.

Accessibility

Unfortunately, our space is located in an old industrial building that poses a challenge to accessibility. There is no passenger elevator. The steps to the exterior door do not have a handrail; the stairs to the second floor do have a handrail, with 12 steps to the landing and 11 more to floor 2. Please request assistance if you would like someone to meet you at the door. We apologize for this issue and recognize that the impact on people with disabilities is felt deeply in our community. If you would like assistance getting into the building and up to our space for a class, please ask and we will make sure someone is there to meet you. We are making considered efforts to improve this issue, offer virtual classes, and ensure that events outside of our space are always planned in accessible venues. If there are other accommodations we can make please reach out. Events & classes can be ASL interpreted upon request. Please request interpretation at least 48 hours in advance in the notes section of your order and email us at info@subrosapdx.com.

Sub Rosa offers reduced-rate tickets to each of our classes for black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) first and foremost and those experiencing financial hardship or limited income as well. Please reach out to info@subrosapdx.com to request these ticket order codes.

COVID Safety

Masks are optional for events at Sub Rosa (this is subject to change depending on COVID rates).
We are moving away from requiring vaccination card checks at our events at Sub Rosa. Some visiting educators ask vaccination checks, so this will depend on the class. This policy is subject to change.

Recorded Classes

UNFORTUNATELY THE PLATFORM WE HOSTED RECORDED CLASSES ON IS SHUTTING DOWN SEX EDUCATION AND SUSPENDING ACCOUNTS. WE ARE SEEKING A NEW PLATFORM FOR THESE CLASSES BELOW. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE.
